On April 1, the commencement ceremony of Xiamen Hongxin Electron-tech Co., Ltd. (Honflex)'s 1.2MW distributed photovoltaic power station project was held in Honflex Science and Technology Park, Xiang'an District. As one of the key projects participated by the whole of Xiang'an County, it is jointly promoted by C&D Inc., Clenergy, and Honflex. The project consists of two factories in Xiang'an District and Tong'an District of Xiamen, respectively. The grid-connected power generation is expected to complete by May this year.

It is reported that the project adopts the mode of "consuming all power generated on its own," which will achieve 100% total consumption. After the completion of the project, it is expected that the average annual power generation will reach 1.48 million kWh, and it will save more than 13,000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 37,000 tons during the operation period, which can offer effective assistance in achieving carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals.
