The BNCT Center at Xiamen Humanity Hospital has recently achieved a significant milestone by successfully enrolling its 50th participant in a clinical trial. As the first BNCT Clinical Demonstration and Research Center in China, this represents a substantial advancement in the development of registered BNCT clinical trials within the country.

Since launching investigator-initiated clinical trials (IIT) for head and neck tumor patients in 2022, and initiating the country's first Phase I registration clinical trial combining BNCT drugs and devices in 2024, the BNCT Center at Xiamen Humanity Hospital, led by Professors Jianji Pan and Cheng Huang, has made steady progress in clinical trials. Preliminary results from enrolled participants have shown promising clinical efficacy.

The Center will continue to advance BNCT clinical research and applications, contributing to the improvement of BNCT treatment standards in China and helping more cancer patients regain their health.
